my husband got me this LookBook for christmas. so far, i like it. i’m not a tech-savvy person at all & even i can navigate thru it pretty well. the issues with wifi connections can be sorta spotty. we have wifi in our house and it doesn’t pick up the signal as well as our computers do. i had some issues with purchasing books, but that ended up to be a card problem. i also enjoyed the free e-books it came with access to already on it. i think it will probably be good for how i’ll use it.

This device is good as long as u have the patience to sort out the software issues. It came with outdated software requiring an immediate software push via WiFi (altho not a Wifi hotspot I.e. McDonalds these will not work – this is not explained at all). Also have not been able to get Kobos desktop software to sync properly with device – I had to download additional Adope software allowing a drag and drop style conversion to actually get the ebooks from online over to device. Only wireless systems using a proper router will work for auto prompting a software update – this I think is a poor design since it comes out of the box w/ outdated software. Battery life is good , size is kind of bulky for my taste but wife loves it. Processor is a little slow but adequate. Picture is nice – mine did not come with a case either.

I just purchased my Shift 3 Lookbook Wireless Reader today 12/14/10 from a Wallmart store in Orange County, CA. My ebook reader did not come with a case but everything mentioned above. Price was $99.99. So far it seems as a wonderful addition to all my other gadgets. Only time will tell.

great review. love my new lg. processor is faster, easier to use, the touch screen is easy to navigate and texting and emailing is reallly easy. great unlocked cell phones. the email and wifi is great for busness and my wife loves hers for the facebook and camera. also got our htc unlock codes and blackberry unlocking for free! got our last couple optimus’s a unlockthatphone.com 2 thumbs way up
